dc.description.abstract	The present article deals with statistical data of disastrous floods on the rivers of Georgia in 2005. The considered patterns exem-plify the magnitude of the floods and the scale of material damages caused by them. Complex measures are given to prevent exist-ing and expected ecological troubles.	en
