dc.description	ლექსიკონ - ცნობარი შეიცავს 1700-მდე ტერმინსა და ცნებას, რომელიც ფართოდ გამოიყენება ეკოლოგიის შესახებ სამეცნიერო ლიტერატურაში, ასევე რიგ ტერმინებსა და ცნებებს მომიჯნავე სამეცნიერო დისციპლინებიდან, რომლებიც პირდაპირ კავშირშია ეკოლოგიასთან. გარდა მოკლე, წმინდა ეკოლოგიური განმარტებებისა, უმეტესი ტერმინებისა და ცნებების ინტერპრეტაციისას მოცემულია გარემოსდაცვითი ინფორმაცია. შედარებით რთული ტერმინების ინტერპრეტაციას ახლავს ეტიმოლოგიური ცნობები და მოკლე მაგალითები, მათი არსის უფრო დეტალურად გადმოცემის მიზნით. აღსანიშნავია, რომ ზოგიერთ ტერმინს და აბრევიატურას ჯერ კიდევ არ აქვს დამკვიდრე-ბული და ზოგადად მიღებული ვერსია ქართულ ენაზე. ამიტომ, რიგ შემთხვევაში ლექსიკონის ტექსტი დამატებით შეიცავს საერთაშორისო (ინგლისურ) ტერმინებსა და აბრევიატურებს. ეკოლოგიის სფეროში ბევრი ტერმინი და ცნება განსხვავებულად არის გაგებული სხვადასხვა ავტორის მიერ, ამიტომ ტერმინებისა და ცნებების ჩამოთვლილი ფორმულირებები და განმარტებები არ შეიძლება ჩაითვალოს მკაცრად ნორმატიულად. სახელმძღვანელო განკუთვნილია, თანამედროვე ეკოლოგიური პრობლემების შესწავლაში ჩართულ, უმაღლეს საგანმანათლებლო დაწესებულებათა სტუდენტებისა და დოქტორანტების-თვის. მისი გამოყენება მოსახერხებელი და მეტად სასარგებლო იქნება როგორც უმაღლეს სასწავლო დაწესებულებებში ეკოლოგიის საფუძვლების სწავლისა და სწავლების პროცესების სრულყოფაში, ისე გარემოს დაცვის, გარემოს მენეჯმენტის სფეროს სპეციალისტებისთვის და თანამედროვე ეკოლოგიური პრობლემის გადაწყვეტით დაკავებულ პირთა ფართო წრისთვის.	ka_GE
dc.description	The dictionary contains up to 1,700 terms and concepts widely used in the scientific literature on ecology, as well as a number of terms and concepts from related scientific disciplines directly related to ecology. In addition to brief purely ecological definitions, in the process of interpreting most terms and concepts the information about environment protection is provided. The interpretation of relatively complex terms is accompanied by short examples, a more detailed description of their essence, and by etymological information. It should be noted that some terms and abbreviations still do not have an established and generally accepted version in the Georgian language. Therefore, in some cases the text of the dictionary additionally contains international (English) terms and abbreviations. Many terms and concepts in the field of ecology are understood differently by different authors; therefore, the listed formulations and definitions of terms and concepts cannot be considered strictly normative. The manual is intended for students and doctoral students of higher educational institutions engaged in the study of modern ecological problems. It will be convenient and effective in improving the learning and teaching processes of the basics of ecology in the higher educational institutions of Georgia. It will also be exceedingly useful for specialists in the field of environmental protection, environmental management, and for a wide circle of people engaged in solving modern environmental problems.	en
